Margaret Monnin

Bio & Expertise:‍ ‍From Connecticut and a University of Virginia graduate, Margaret Monnin has spent her career working closely with young learners. After three years teaching first and second grade and three more in 7th grade at The Windward School, she went on to earn her Master's degree in General and Special Education (Grades 1–6) from NYU Steinhardt. She currently serves as a Learning Specialist at the Marymount School of New York.

Margaret specializes in elementary education (K–6) and is trained in PAF and The Writing Revolution — two research-backed approaches that allow her to support a wide range of learners, including those with learning differences. She works with students to build both skills and confidence in equal measure.

When she's not working, Margaret can be found skiing, reading, or walking through Central Park.
