Alanna Gold
Bio & Expertise: Alanna Gold, PhD is a clinical neuropsychologist who specializes in the diagnostic and neuropsychological evaluation of children, adolescents, and young adults who are impacted by neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders, such as learning, attentional, and social-emotional challenges. Throughout her training and career, she also has developed expertise in the assessment of individuals with autism spectrum disorder. She is dedicated to working closely with families and schools to coordinate appropriate educational, therapeutic, and transition to adulthood services and supports.
Dr. Gold is a licensed psychologist in the states of New York and Massachusetts. She earned her doctorate degree in clinical psychology with a specialization in clinical neuropsychology at the University of Houston. She completed a clinical psychology internship within the neuropsychology track at Long Island Jewish Medical Center – The Zucker Hillside Hospital (Northwell Health) and a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at the Learning and Emotional Assessment Program at Massachusetts General Hospital. She has held faculty positions at the Lurie Center for Autism at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and most recently the Child Study Center at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital of New York at NYU Langone, where she worked as a clinical psychologist on the Neuropsychology and Learning Service and Autism Spectrum Disorder Service. As a faculty member, she was actively involved in the clinical supervision and instruction of psychology and psychiatry trainees and medical students.
